Hi everyone, I recently bought another ASUS router to use as an AIMESH node to my RT-AC5300 main router which had to be moved into my office since I work from home now due to all the current madness. Will keep trying. Seriously sucks compared to before. AX56U and AX58U. FW has also been updated latest 3.0.0.4.386_22245-g1b51b7c. Everyone can ping my internal IP address, i can connect via localhost on the same computer. All routers in AiMesh network will start having issues maintaining connections and many wireless devices (nest cameras) at nodes will fail to connect. I have the precursor to the Asus AiMesh which was the "express way" feature on their WiFi repeaters using the 2.4Ghz channel as the backhaul and it was only ever stable with a separate SSID for what it's worth. I’m having the same issues with my AC5300 primary router and hardwired AC86U AiMesh node. 7 months ago.
